About the Baker Home Tour
Inaugurated in 2013, the Baker Home Tour was established and supported by the Baker Historic Neighborhood Association (BHNA) to celebrate our history, invite others to experience Baker's charm, and to support our local community. A portion of the proceeds is donated to DCIS at Fairmont (Elementary School).

About the Baker Historic District
Queen Anne architecture predominates the type of homes in the Baker Historic District but also included among our homes are churches, schools, Denver Squares, Dutch Colonial Revivals, Classical Revivals, Italianate, and a few new-fangled Craftsman Bungalows. Some of our more well known edifices are the Mayan Theater, Fairmont School, and the First Avenue Presbyterian Church.

The Baker Historic District offers a vibrant spectrum of urban life. South Broadway hosts a wide array of Denver’s exquisite restaurants and eclectic libation stops. Sample treats at a local bakery, enjoy hearty comfort bistro fare, or experience high dining at any of the neighborhood's several eateries. The neighborhood’s western border is home to the trendy Santa Fe Arts District, which is known for its farmers’ markets, restaurants, and galleries. Lastly, not-to-be-missed recreational paths (Cherry Creek and South Platte River trails) are available for outdoor enthusiasts to relish fun-in-the-sun activities.
